The Metropol Parasol, Seville, Spain, by Jürgen Mayer H and engineered by Arup, completed 2011. One of the largest wooden structures ever built, it is made from Kerto laminated veneer lumber (LVL) with a polyurethane resin (PUR) weather resistant coating.

Trælasthuset (The Timber House) is a parking garage in Nordhavn, Copenhagen, by Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter, completed 2002. The cladding consists of laminated glass, recycled aluminium and Thermwood pine.

Accoya acetylated (pickled) wood produced with sustainable managed, fast growing radiata pine. It is dimensionally stable, offers outstanding durability (25 years in ground and 50 years above ground outdoors), takes coatings well, machines well is non-toxic and recyclable with other wood.
