Epson printer waste ink tank, injection moulded in high impact polystyrene (HIPS, PS-HI) and filled with non-woven polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyester, microfibre absorbent material.

Positive Plastics injection moulded sample of Viro polystyrene (PS) combined with UBQ additive (32%). The feedstock for UBQ is household waste, which is largely comprised of organic materials – everything from food residues and mixed plastics to cardboard, paper, and even dirty diapers, that would have otherwise been sent to landfill or incineration. Using this additive reduces the amount of plastic required, lowering the overall carbon footprint of parts.

Black expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation is made with added graphite. The advantage of this material, BASF Neopor graphite polystyrene (GPS), is that not only does it slow down heat transfer the same as EPS, but the graphite additive reflects the heat internally. This further increases the insulation efficiency of the material. It contains 10% recycled material.
