Lindberg Air Titanium glasses, created together with architectural firm Dissing+Weitling. These are the first rimless spectacles made of titanium alloy. They make use of a unique spiral hinge, which removes the need for screws, rivets and other unnecessary elements. Image Lindberg.

The road suspension section of the Storebæltsbroen (the Great Belt bridge), Denmark, by Dissing+Weitling, completed 1998, is one of the largest examples of this type of bridge in the world. The pylons are 254 m tall and were cast on-site, 4 m at a time using climbing formwork (jumpform). All except the foundations, which were prefabricated and then brought on site. The suspended road, 2.7 km long between concrete anchor blocks, is made up of steel sections, held with high tensile cables.
