Pilkington K low-emissivity glass

Pilkington K low-emissivity (low-e) glass was developed to minimise the amount of ultraviolet and infrared light that can pass through a window without compromising the amount of visible light that is transmitted. Reducing the emissivity of window glass by applying a selectively reflective hard coat improves a window’s insulating properties and so helps to improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
